Nominations Open for the 2018 CA Awards Winners

The search for the winners of the 2018 CA Awards per the provided categories is now open, nominators are invited to nominate outstanding individuals or institutions/organization that have made exemplary contributions, in diverse means, to the promotion, adaptation and adoption Conservation Agriculture (CA) in Africa.
This honourable awards scheme is intended to recognize outstanding individuals or institutions/organizations that are leading the effort to change the reality of farming in Africa from inappropriate and unproductive tillage based systems to highly productive, profitable, sustainable and environmentally sound Conservation Agriculture systems.
The deadline for nominations is Sunday, September 30th, 2018. The winner will be unveiled at a high-profile CA Gala Event at the Second Africa Congress on Conservation Agriculture (2ACCA) to be held in October 2018 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Conservation Agriculture Africa Awards 2018 Categories

 To recognize and honor an Individual or Organization who has championed the cause of Conservation Agriculture in Africa.

This award was intended to honor a Journalist and/or a Media House for their active contribution in raising awareness about Conservation Agriculture through Print media, Social Media, television and e-news portals.

This award is intended to honor and recognize CA model farmer. A farmer who has adopted CA, is practicing and has influenced other farmers to start CA. under this category FIVE awardee were recognizes CA Farmer champions (selection will be, One CA farmer each from Southern Africa, Eastern Africa, Central Africa, West Africa and North Africa). 

This award was intended to honor and recognize a CA champion who has practiced CA under the most challenging conditions e.g. rainfall variations, challenging Policy environment, or Labour challenges.

This award is intended to recognize and honour recognize upcoming young CA farmer. A young farmer who has adopted CA, is practicing and has influenced other youthful farmers to start CA

This award is intended to recognize and honour an individual, company or organization who has supported, championed and facilitated access to CA mechanization in Africa through appropriate dealership, innovative fabrication and machinery adaptations, supportive mechanization business model, and appreciable CA machinery after sale services.
